The National is a great choice for lunch in midtown. The burrata was delicious--creamy and well seasoned. The salmon was absolutely perfect. Nice, seared skin, cooked to my preferred medium rare and full of flavor. The restaurant was packed with people but the service was fairly attentive. My only critique is that the restaurant acoustics can be a bit loud when the restaurant is filled. Nevertheless, I will be back!
This place is among my favorites. I love the atmosphere and overall dining experience. My server was very helpful in answering questions and providing me with his top choices. I love salmon, so of course I ordered this. The salmon was delicious and cooked perfectly. I'm so glad that I decided to order this. Salmon, I think, is always a great choice! I also had dessert. They had several options. And I ordered coffee. The whole experience was amazing and I would definitely come back here, again!
